God and His Word are one. So when the Word is implanted in you, it is in fact an appearing of the Lord being imparted to your being.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. … And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1–4, 14)1
Christ was the Word of God made flesh—that means God became flesh and dwelled among us. God was the very fabric of Christ’s being. Yeshua (Jesus) was Immanuel, “God with us.” The Word became flesh in Him and when that Word dwells in us, it is still becoming flesh. When Christ is implanted in us, then the Word once again becomes flesh and dwells among men. It is the same process of oneness that exists between Christ and the Father. If we grasp oneness, we are monotheists. Our God is One. There may be three Persons or expressions, but He is still one God. And Christ and the Father are coming to take up their abode in us (John 14:23).
After the Day of Pentecost, men and women boldly spoke the Word of God. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word with boldness (Acts 4:31). When they prayed, the Spirit fell on them and they began speaking the Word of God just the same as Christ did; it was an impartation of the Word of God and of His presence. If we remain true biblically to what the Scriptures are saying, then we likewise are becoming the Word made flesh by the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the presence of Christ, and the fullness of the Father (John 17:22–23). Christ and the Father were One; you could not see a difference. And by their indwelling within us, we will be perfected in unity and be one just as they are One (John 17:23). Yeshua said that if a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it bears much fruit (John 12:24). It duplicates itself. It is one thing for us to accept that Yeshua was the Word of God made flesh; but it is another thing entirely to open our hearts and say, “Yes, and He planted that Word in me.”
Christ became the inculcation of the Word of God. And when He imparts that Word to us, then we likewise will become one with the Father, one with the Spirit, and one with Yeshua until we are so filled and so matured that we come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). What was Christ? He was the Word made flesh and that is what we are becoming. Like Yeshua, we are becoming the manifestation of the Word made flesh in our generation. The Word is not just powerful; it is God Himself. When that Word is imparted into our lives, then the Father will come and dwell in us. The world needs men and women who literally are the expression of God. Then the sons of God will manifest the fullness of the Word made flesh in our generation just as Yeshua was to His generation.
