The Body of Christ needs to move in a prophetic declaration this year as we face what is going to unfold. We will see waves of things happening where God is dealing with specific areas of government, finance and business, education, arts, the legal realm, health, religion, agriculture and food, and other areas of our society. In the process of the Kingdom of God coming into the earth, the Lord must deal with everything that supplants His Kingdom. In other words, the governments of the world as they exist now will not be the government of the Kingdom (Revelation 11:15). God’s Kingdom is a true kingdom, and He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Worldly governments are merely placeholders—whether they are supplanters or things that God Himself has put in place—until the coming Kingdom. Therefore, we now experience a type of coexistence. God is setting up His authority structure, but satan has come in and supplanted and usurped areas of oversight.
As the Kingdom comes, you have to recognize that it is not just something that happens all at one moment in one day. There may be a moment when every eye will see Him, but the Kingdom is coming to take over all the earth because the earth is the Lord’s and all it contains (1 Corinthians 10:26). Yeshua (Jesus) cast out devils because He was removing the authority over people’s lives that had been supplanted by satan himself. So the Kingdom is like a steamroller coming down the road. It just rolls along and flattens everything that gets in its way, compressing it down to the way it needs to be.
The Kingdom of God has been coming, is coming, and will continue to come as it fills the whole earth (Daniel 2:35). And I want us to see our part in the anointing of that coming Kingdom. That is where prophecy comes in. “By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:3).[1] Our prophetic proclamation brings into the visible that which may now be invisible. We do not have to focus on the problems; they are going to simply be removed. The anointing on John the Baptist was to make straight; he was to raise up the valleys, bring down the mountains, make the rough roads smooth, and get everything out of the way (John 1:23; Luke 3:5). He was a steamroller. He just steamrolled his way through that generation and dealt with everything that stood in the way of the Kingdom of God manifesting on the level that was to be revealed in that generation.
We are going to see progressive waves of God dealing with different established placeholders or usurped areas of authority in each of these areas or realms. We already see it in our government here in the United States. God is going to remove everything that is in His way, and then He is going to bless everything that is part of flowing with Him to accomplish His will. It will come in succession after succession. God is going to get things out of the way because He is ready to bring forth greater manifestations of His Kingdom in these different areas. So we declare and manifest it today, in the name of the Lord.
