Ambassadors for His Kingdom – Episode 42

Jun 1, 2021

We are in this world as ambassadors for Christ. Our involvement in the world should be to serve His purpose, which is to beg people to be reconciled to God through Christ and to infuse the principles of God and His coming Kingdom into this age. We are here as a colony from heaven.

Show Notes:

It is important that we understand the dynamics of what happens to us in the process of salvation. In our salvation we are reconciled unto God, the Father through Christ. Then this same process of reconciliation is handed off to us. That is what it means to be an ambassador of Christ.

When we pray the sinner’s prayer, we ask Christ into our life, our sins are forgiven, and we, from that point, have eternal life. We are no longer of this world; we are of the Kingdom of God. Something has taken place in that salvation experience that removes us from this world, out of this realm that we have lived in, and transplants us into the Heavenly realm, the place where Christ is. That is where we are from and that is where we live forever.

So, we do not get caught up in this world because we do not belong to this world. We are aliens here. We do not represent this world and we do not get consumed with the affairs of this world and the things of this world. We are here representing another world. We have been left in this age as ambassadors, here to see others reconciled to the Father and to proclaim that the Kingdom of God is coming upon this Earth.
