As we get closer to the days of the Kingdom, we will need to see things happen more quickly and on a greater scale than what we have seen before. We need to open our minds not only to the need for it, but to the possibility of it. However, is there a scriptural precedence to believe for what we can only call mass salvation or mass movings of God through the earth in our day and time?

One of the things that is so concerning in this day and age is that it seems America is going against God and against the Word of God. We are trying to remove God from the public square, out of our national debate, out of our legal system, out of our schools, and out of healthcare.
In these Last Days, as God is bringing forth His Kingdom on the earth, sometimes it seems as though things are dragging out and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But God will cut short the days and make quick work of His plan to bring forth His Kingdom upon the earth—so things will begin to happen quickly and will happen on a broad scale. There will be salvation and deliverance for all who call upon Him.
We see this idea of a national outcry in Zechariah. We see this idea of a global event taking place in Joel as this same cry goes out before the Lord. In the story of Jonah, we see that God was going to destroy this entire city in 40 days, but He was willing to relent from this calamity. What Jonah did, speaking a word, triggered in the hearts of this whole city to repent and turn to God.
In the New Testament Scriptures, we see the same thing at the beginning of the Ekklesia, the Church. Everyone felt a sense of awe at the many wonders and signs that were taking place through the apostles. In just a very short time after the resurrection and ascension of Christ, we see the apostles speaking a word and then all at once thousands of people are saved in Jerusalem. God grant us that faith and those words to accomplish the same.
