God is emanating a power towards you. It is the same exact power that He used when He raised Yeshua (Jesus) from the dead; it is the power of resurrection. Like a laser beam, the Father focused this unbelievable power of God on the dead body of Yeshua and brought Him to life. Christ’s resurrection released the greatest power that has ever been seen—including the power that formed creation. The resurrection literally broke the power of death. The Father reached beyond death, beyond Sheol, into the lower parts of the earth, and unleashed His power on Yeshua to raise Him from the dead.

This very same power is constantly emanating towards you. The apostle Paul prayed “that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know … what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe” (Ephesians 1:18-19). Let Paul’s words impact you like they must have impacted the early believers at Ephesus when they first received his letter. Paul wanted them to see and have a revelation of this surpassing greatness of God’s power toward those who believe. God is immovable and is always doing the same thing. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Every second of every day God is beaming this power towards you. And this power is “in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church” (Ephesians 1:19-22).¹

After the resurrection of Yeshua, God refocused this power on you, the believer. It is a power that supersedes every other power, every other authority, every other created thing. Paul prayed that God would strengthen you with power through His Spirit in the inner man that you might “know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:19). For God is “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us” (Ephesians 3:20). You cannot separate the love of God from the power of God. His power is resident in His love; that is what gives it the strength. By virtue of knowing the love of Christ, you will be filled to all the fullness of God.

Yeshua was the fullness of Him who fills all things. Resident in Christ was all of God. He was filled to all the fullness of the Father to the point where He told the disciples, “If you’ve seen Me, you’ve actually seen the Father because He is resident within Me” (see John 14:9). This should be the normal reality that Christians experience daily in their walk with God. We are to be clothed with God’s power (Luke 24:49). What power? The same power that raised Yeshua from the dead, but you have to plug into it. As you plug into Him, resurrection life will begin to flow into you with health, life, strength, the renewing of your mind, and faith in the Word. Every time you feel a disconnect, declare by faith, “Father, I am plugging into You!”
